Legacy Care Caregiver

Legacy Care LLC | St. Louis Home Care

If helping others comes second nature to you, joining the team as a Legacy Care Caregiver may be the perfect fit for you. Our Caregivers are an integral part of the team and assist with daily tasks like helping clients with routine housework and errands, providing transportation to and from doctor's appointments, general companionship and more.

Legacy Care Caregiver Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months' experience as a caregiver 
  • Caring, compassionate and responsible demeanor
  • Effective communication skills and ability to interact and build relationships with clients, clients' families, other healthcare professionals and office staff
  • Must possess a current CPR certification

    Additional qualifications:
    Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening; must possess proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.; must possess a valid driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation; must possess a high school diploma, GED or transcript; must be able to provide professional references.

Licensed practical nurse (LPN)

Legacy Care LLC | St. Louis Home Care

Legacy Care LPNs perform routine nursing functions like changing bandages and wound dressings, while also comforting patients and ensuring that basic needs like food and fluid intake are in order.

Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:

  • Must possess a current and unrestricted LPN license, with 2-5 years of experience on your license
  • Must possess a current CPR certification and a TB/chest X-ray on record 
  • Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures that are necessary for providing quality care to Legacy Care LLC clients
  • Must possess patience, tact, flexibility a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult clients

    Additional qualifications:
    Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening; must possess proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.; must possess a valid driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation; must possess a high school diploma, GED or transcript; must be able to provide professional references.

Registered Nurse (RN)

Legacy Care LLC | St. Louis Home Care

Legacy Care RNs specialize in treating patients and providing advice and emotional support to them and their families. RNs frequently provide primary or specialty care to patients.

Registered Nurse Qualifications:

  • Must possess a current and unrestricted RN license, with 2-5 years of experience on your license
  • Must possess a current CPR certification and a TB/chest X-ray on record

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Legacy Care LLC | St. Louis Home Care

A Legacy Care CNA's primary role is to provide care to patients, as well as assist them in daily activities they might have trouble with on their own, such as bathing. Because of the personal nature of the job, the ideal CNA must possess people skills and the ability to be compassionate and take joy in helping others.

Certified Nursing Assistant Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months' experience as a CNA
